Presentation

Thursday, November 8th: 10.30 - 12.00

Track: Communication

Get your hands dirty with Social Software

Social Software - or Web 2.0 applications - such as blogs, wikis, and podcasting creates new possiblities for companies to involve partners and customers much more closer in all aspects of the business; innovation, product support, sales and much more. Where traditional corporate communications often create more distance than closer relations (just think of the press release), social software does the opposite.

But how does one start using Social Software in a corporate context? On this session we will work practically with blogs, wikis and other examples of Social Software and, on basis of that, discuss problems and possibilities.

To get the best out of this session, you should bring a laptop with wireless card. The session will be highly interactive and you will get your hands dirty.
