Peter Erik Bang Nissen

Peter is an analyst within the area of web and intranet management. He has worked for a number of years with issues related to standards, governance and processes for delivering high quality web content. He has led several projects from the phases of strategy, requirements gathering and specification, testing, training through to implementation, be it of CMS, portal releases or search engines.
The bulk of his practical experience comes from positions as Webmaster and Manager of e-commerce and later as Head of online channels with the container business arm of Danish multinational A.P. Moller – Maersk Group.
Peter holds a masters degree in Communication from Roskilde University but his multi-threaded way through life has also involved studies of Philosophy, French and Webmastering as well as positions as teacher within the secondary school sector, webmaster with a Danish NGO and documentation center manager at the French Embassy in Copenhagen.
Peter is based in Copenhagen and while he is definitely no opponent of city life, nor of relaxing with his family in his small summer house and garden, he is also a zealous trekker and has roamed the mountains on all continents, except Africa and Antarctica, his latest adventure being the ascent of Mont Blanc in 2006.
